RANCHERS OPPOSE ARMY BASE EXPANSION
In Colorado, the U.S. Army wants to grow its 370 square mile remote training site by another 650 square miles. The expanded maneuver site would be about the same size as Rhode Island. But in order to expand, the Army will have to buy out dozens of ranchers, many of whom have been on the land for 100 years or more. We meet some of the ranchers, and hear from business owners in surrounding towns who see no good in the proposal. [LISTEN] []
