Colorado Springs city council voted unanimously today (Tue., April 24) to support a festival celebrating diversity.
The vote came two weeks after a pair of council members expressed concern that city sponsorship of a downtown cultural festival this summer could be seen as the city endorsing groups lobbying for pro-homosexual causes.

These two yahoos (council members) who are againsts anything gay, lesbian, & transgender, after much outcry from our community (business or otherwise) have to back down. Their face saving excuse was the city administration did not provide adequate information. What a sad sad sorry excuse.
It is OK to collect taxes from groups they do not like, and not OK for those groups to participate in our community.

A festival celebrating "diversity?" ...you mean "sodomy"? (I love these politically-correct euphemisms.) Celebrating what God calls evil and having "diverse" opinions totally opposed to His is rather foolish.
Isaiah 5:20
"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness."

Hey Mikey, God's a player, not a hater.

Diversity a euphemism for sodomy? Guess I missed that one in Webster's. And diverse opinions being against "HIS" will? How would we get anything done? I'm guessing interracial relationships are certainly out of the question; a little too "diverse"(wink, wink).
I'm just surprised the council is recognizing that diversty extends beyond Anglo-American; it was a moronic concern in the first place, and pretty sad that was first conclusion they jumped to. Who elected these people?! Oh, wait, we did.
