I admire what Senator Salazar is doing for the ranchers and how he is trying to stop the Pinon Canyon Expansion. As a rancher and farmer I am AGAINST the expansion and I see NO reason why the army needs this much land that they will never use. Like myself there are many many ranchers, farmers and countless others who will fight this to the end. People in the city just have no clue what it is like to try to survive and make a living using the land and what god gave them. The Pinon Canyon Expansion is WRONG and no good will ever come out of it. All that the people in Colorado Springs are wanting and concerned about is $MONEY$, and I think that is pretty sad when there are so many good hearted people with so much to lose if this expansion continues.

Thank you KRCC for reporting and interviewing supporters of Senator Salazar's successful amendment to put a moratorium on Fort Carson's expansion into Pinon Canyon.

If more people would see the movie/documentary at Kimbals directed by Charles Ferguson they would agree that what the US needs now is people trained in reparation for all the damage we caused to the Iraqi nation.
