On this week's episode of Air Check, local audiophile and music enthusiast Chris O'Shea sits in on the musical roundtable discussion, Low Cut Connie talks with Vicky and plays a couple songs in studio, and we suggest a few concerts that we think you might enjoy attending in the near future.

Chris O'Shea has a long history with music in Colorado Springs - he ran the Prelude Music Store back in the 80's and 90's, filled in as a jazz host alongside the late Lenny Mazel at KCME, and has recently been hosting album listening parties one Sunday each month at Local Relic Brewery in downtown Colorado Springs. Chris sat in with Jeff and Vicky to talk about his favorite new(ish) release during the musical roundtable.

The group Low Cut Connie recently played a show in Colorado Springs at the Black Sheep, and they made time to drop into 91.5 KRCC to chat with Vicky and play a couple tunes.  The band has built a reputation as a result of their ferocious live performances, and are currently touring in support of their fourth full length release Dirty Fingers.  Vicky sat down with frontman Adam Weiner to talk about the trajectory of Low Cut Connie, and his intimate relationship with Shanna, a four hundred pound piano that accompanies him on the road…
