There are 20,837 known confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. This includes both people who tested positive for the virus and people who have been in contact with someone who tested positive and is exhibiting symptoms.

3,789 people have been hospitalized and 1091 people have died thus far due to the novel coronavirus in Colorado. More than 115,996 people have been tested, though the number may not include all negative results.

There are 208 known outbreaks reported at residential and non-hospital healthcare facilities, prisons or other facilities.

** The state has identified the Crowley County Correctional Facility as among the known outbreaks of COVID-19 in the state. The state made the designation on Saturday, May 2. The list of known outbreaks is publicly updated each Wednesday. 

Additionally, Colfax County in Northern New Mexico continues to hold steady, with five known cases of COVID-19. At least 509 people there have been tested.
