We're going to head into Old Colorado City and check out three historic parks, starting with the newly renovated Bancroft Park. Next, head for Vermijo Park and then onto Blunt Park. It's a pleasant walk through neighborhoods where you can admire some of the street art along the way and the freshly-painted, community-supported basketball court at Blunt Court.

Skyline Trail is Susan's second suggestion for this week. You can park at Lulu Pollard Park and connect to the Briargate Trail, Cottonwood Creek Park, and passes near Rampart Park. It's a great way to see how our urban trail system connects and passes through various neighborhoods.

Check your local parks and recreation departments to see what places are open in your neighborhood.
