Sondermann Park

Sondermann Park Loop is nice, easy and family-friendly. The creek-side trail follows little streams and provides plenty of shade. You can follow it to a ridge with great views. You could see deer, as it is a small wild oasis surrounded by neighborhoods. Sondermann Park is a little-known community gem.

Cottonwood Park Trail.

Cottonwood Creek Trail is a bit better-known and it's worth your time because it offers a variety of trails. There's a soft surface trail on one side, and a hard surface for cyclists on the other side. This 2.7 mile loop starts in Woodland Hills Park and you'll pass playing fields and a disc golf course. there's even decent bird watching. You can also now connect from Cottonwood Creek Trail all the way to Powers Boulevard and beyond.

Check your local parks and recreation departments to see what places are open in your neighborhood.
