  • The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum will host the community kick-off to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration tonight from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The event is free, but advance registration is requested.
  • On Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m., Poetry 719 will host a next “Queer People of Color Open Mic” at the Gallery Below. The evening will be headlined by Natalie Sharp, a Black queer writer, dancer, and activist hailing from Savannah, GA and now based in Denver.
  • The UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art will host their next ChitChat event at the Ent Center for the Arts this coming Tuesday at 7 p.m., featuring a mash-up conversation on the topics of virtual reality and kombucha.
