UCCS Moves To Remote Learning

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs is moving to remote learning after its upcoming spring break, with on-campus classes slated to resume in mid-April.

The notice comes as the state announced new presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, and one day after Colorado College asked students to stay off campus until at least mid-April.

Meantime, the University of Colorado-Boulder has suspended all in-person classes for the rest of the semester, with online classes scheduled to begin Monday.

Governor Jared Polis declared a state of emergency Tuesday morning. As of Wednesday afternoon, there were 33 presumptive positive cases of the novel coronavirus in the state.
